Sitting out the rain showersBack in the spring, we thought it'd be cool to set up an Evenden family camping weekend and introduce our two young grandchildren (who are both dealing with autism) to the world of camping.  So we reserved two adjoining campsites at Emily Provincial Park near Peterborough.   We had already scouted out the campsites last year.  These ones share one driveway and are nicely away from the roadway and surrounded by trees.  It's kind of like having your own little group campgrounds.

But, you know the old saying: "The best laid plans ...".  Seems life got in the way and Cameron and the kids needed to do something else over the scheduled weekend, but the rest of us all went camping anyway.  Four generations of Evendens - Tom & Thelma, Wendy & I, Devon & Andrew, and our grandsons Jonathon and Jamie.  We all had a great time and we were able to rid ourselves of a significant amount of pent up silliness.
