Tom and Thelma, Richard and Carolyn, and Wendy and I decided that we'd all get together in our rigs and go somewhere for a weekend.  After a few false starts, we finally coordinated schedules and available campsites and headed off to Emily Provincial Park down in Peterborough.

The Doll HouseEmily is an interesting park.  It's one of the older provincial parks, so it's not really designed to accommodate larger 5th wheel trailers.  Tom and Thelma ended up on a site that had quite a downslope away from the road.  As you can see from the picture, it created an interesting optical illusion.  According to the bubble level, the trailer is perfectly level.

On Saturday, we had guests.  Richard and Carolyn's old friends, Barb and Warren, and Richard's sister Judy came over from Peterborough.  We all sat around on lawn chairs in a huge circle sipping cocktails and telling tales for the afternoon.

The weather was great and allowed us to take some very pleasant walks through the park.  It was kind of different taking The Caboose such a short distance away for the weekend.
